With its mobile and powerful design, the Whynter ARC-14S portable air conditioner stands out as a very powerful and portable air conditioner. Any small space, such as a bedroom, office, or server room, can be kept cool with this dual hose portable air conditioner.

COOLING
Several ducts circulate warm air into the unit, and one exhausts hot air outside. Despite being “sealed”, the ducts are extremely large (about 5 inches in diameter) and made from thin plastic. This results in the ARC-14S working hard to cool the room as both ducts radiate heat back into it.
Infiltration air also reduces the unit’s actual cooling capacity. Due to pressure differences, infiltration air gets pulled into the conditioned room thanks to warm outdoor air.
When the ARC-14S exhausts air from the room, these pressure differences are created. It pulls in almost the same amount of air as it exhausts because it is a dual hose unit.
